Ducky duck's Mischief

Exams were over and it was time to relax, play or go for a vacation. Ducky duck was very happy as his exams were over. He had so many things in his mind to do in his vacation time. He was excited while retiring home. When his mother asked how was his exam, he explained that how easy was his paper and how nicely he wrote. After taking rest he went to play with his friends.

His friends planed to go to ice cream parlor next day and Ducky duck was happy to go with them. They purchased their ice creams and were eating it. Ducky saw that from afar of his classmate Lisa duck was coming. His mischievous mind started thinking to play some tricks. He looked towards his ice cream and smiled himself. He took some ice cream and spilled it over the floor. Lisa came with big smile on her face and said hi to everyone. As soon as she passed from the way where Ducky duck spilled the ice cream, she slipped and because of her high-heeled shoe she could not balance herself and fell down. Ducky duck and his friends could not hold their laugh.

But soon they realized that Lisa was in terrible pain and was unable to rise up. Paramedics were called to take her to the hospital. After x-rays and other examination doctor said that she had two fractures in her leg. Ducky was feeling very guilty for his mischievous behavior. He could not sleep at night, his heart was heavy and he was cussing himself for his bad habits. But he had no idea how to come out of his bad habits. He spent whole night crying. He was afraid to tell anybody about his mischief. He prayed to God and said, "I will not commit this type of mischief anymore, please heal Lisa."

Lisa's condition was improving slowly and steadily. After three months she was out of hospital but it spoiled all her summer vacations. And Ducky duck forgot all the promises he made to God and went in his own way within few weeks.

My dear friend, Ducky duck could not keep his promises but you can come out of your addictions and bad habits by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you want to leave your bad habits and want to live a holy life, invite Jesus in your life. Please pray this prayer with me:

Loving Jesus, please forgive me for all my bad habits, mischief and misbehavior. I accept you as my Lord and Savior today. Please come into my life and change me. Make me a blessed person. Thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus name I ask, amen.
